Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to improving Calgarians’ access to high-quality healthcare services. With over 15 years of experience in healthcare, Lisa Cripps is a Family/All Ages Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive, and family-centred care. With her extensive clinical training, Lisa continues to build trusted partnerships with her patients, delivering care that bridges preventive health, chronic disease management, and patient education.
Lisa’s approach is deeply rooted in understanding the whole person – body, mind, and lifestyle. Her practice blends evidence-based medicine with a heart-centred focus on helping individuals and families feel empowered in their health journey. She is known for her approachable, down-to-earth care style and her ability to create a safe, supportive environment for patients of all ages.

Patient care and advocacy is a true passion I have been privileged to foster over the past 14 years through my positions within the primary care system. It is with great anticipation and excitement that I have been given the opportunity to play a vital role in one of the premier Nurse Practitioner Clinics in Alberta.

"A year ago, I moved my mom with dementia and heart issues into my home. We struggled to find a doc for her who was willing to take the time and truly listen, not just shove more pills down her. Then we found Karen! Yes, it’s private health care and it costs BUT it’s also the best care by far! Karen took the time to do a full history, a full exam, ordered a ton of tests and blood work just to make sure she had a complete baseline picture. She also did a bunch of “mental function” tests (first provider to do that!). She has been absolutely great dealing with mom, extremely patient and caring. No more assembly line medicine for us, very well worth the cost! "
